Farmers are busy people. They have lots of chores to do around the farm to keep it running! Are you ready to put on your boots and get to work?
Every time you finish a task make sure you answer the questions on your handout! You are a busy farmer and don't want to forget your information!
We will do Chore #1 together!
Chore #1 - You need to go to farmer school! Watch this video to learn more about how to run a farm!

Chore #2 - You have passed farm school! You earned your farmer badge. Now it is time to decide which food to plant and harvest. Choose a vegetable or fruit you would like to grow and harvest from the list.

Chore #3 - You will need to know when your produce is ready! Look at your plant's life cycle.

Chore #4 - Luckily, before the farmers got sick they planted their food. The strawberries were planted in the winter and the potatoes were planted in the spring. If you want to make any money from your farm, you will need to know when to harvest your crop.

Chore #5 - Your crop is ready!! It is time to harvest it and make some money! But wait, how will you harvest your crop? Will you use your hands or will you use machines?

You have worked hard at the farm and the farmers are feeling better now. It is time for you to go to have a vacation! But before you go, your farmer wants to know what you did when you were working on his farm!

- Write a letter to the farmer.
- Send the farmer a video explaining what you did.
Make sure you include:
1. What plant you chose.
2. Which season you planted it in.
3. Which season you harvested it.
4. What tools or machines you used to harvest your crop.
5. What you did with the leftover crop that the grocery store didn't take.
